Surveys & installs

Due to the COVID 19 virus, there have been a few changes to the way we run our business at the moment and how we can manage it effectively & efficiently. We have successfully trialled and implemented a number of methods to allow operations to continue going forward.

We are able to carry out contactless surveys. Each morning, temperatures of our working staff will be taken and they will be issued with PPE for the day’s work.
Prior to survey, we will send a short question sheet via e-mail which is to be returned prior to survey. This relates to fitting preferences and specific requirements about your new door.
We will contact the client 30 minutes before arrival and as we arrive on site. Reference photographs/videos will be taken.
On completion, our surveyor will call the client once back in the vehicle and advise that we are complete, at this time if we have any questions regarding fitting preferences can be asked and clarified.
Following survey you will be issued with a final quotation with information to ensure we have correctly interpreted your requirements.

Each morning, temperatures of our 2 working staff will be taken and they will be issued with PPE for the day’s work.
We will send a pre-installation check list prior to coming out to fit your door via e-mail. Please ensure you read through it and notify us if you cannot meet any of our requirements for safe working.
Site work – no more then 3 trades to be on site at one time & can be able to work away from the area our team are working in. If this isn’t possible, we will have to unfortunately delay fitting.

Our installers will contact you 30 minutes prior to arrival. The client must ensure we have a clear working area and vehicles have already been moved to allow our van’s to locate on site correctly.
Each installation will have 2 x single crewed Van’s to minimise contact with one another. (This is to be reviewed weekly).
On completion we will leave the keys / remotes in your preferred location & disinfect the area. Handover can either be done over the phone or e-mail. If there is anything specific to your door – we will notify you.

Our installers are responsibly isolating outside of work & the installations are being carried out by our Managing director – George and lead fitter – Leon only during this time.

We do have a back log of installations, however we are trying to work through these when it is safe to do so. Some suppliers still haven’t opened back up yet so we are also waiting on stock. Once we start getting deliveries again, we will contact the relevant customers to arrange an install if it is safe for both our customers & our fitters.
